Life

by Poet on the Piano   Oct 17, 2007

In life there's friends and enemies,
Friends that you love,
And enemies that you despise.

Life's a road,
With many paths,
Paths that are right,
And paths that are wrong.

You must choose,
The best path,
Or you will get,
Into deep trouble.

Then you come across,
The big rocks and bumps,
And you completely fall apart.

There's nothing,
That can get you back on track,
You've collapsed on the ground,
And you can't get back up.

You're through with it all,
Then he comes,
Along the way,
To help you up,
And to point you,
In the right direction.

He then leads you,
To the right path,
And you are now back on track.
All because he was your light,
That guided you.

That's what happens in life,
It gets hard,
And very bad.
But someone will always,
Be there for you,
You will get through it all.
Life.

Very true words spoken. Life is filled with everything you say in this poem, about the rights and wrong, friends and enemies, paths that we do not know which to travel, and what will be at the end of them. The fall is great, because you show that even when we fall, there is always someone there to pick us up, whether it be God, a parent, a friend, or even someone who is a stranger, and it is in that point in your life which they enter, and become someone you grow to know.

Life is filled with mysterious things. I love this poem!
