One Will Lay Down

by x Mo x   Oct 17, 2007

Gentle tears stream down my cheeks.
Falling to the hard, cold ground.
Internal fights rage on 'till death.
Battle cries carry on without a sound.

In plain sight,
Yet still unseen.
Death comes swiftly
To the less keen.

Ignorant, arrogant
Hopelessly lost,
To stop the suffering
On must pay the cost.

Trying to prove
That life is precious,
One will lay down
And be forever unconscious.
