Oh my Rachel I just loved this! It was so beautiful and truly touched me because I could relate with all my heart. The emotions you described were so real and I could imagine the scene clearly in my mind.

"I am longing for his touch;
or a glimpse of his face
looking back on all of these memories
that I just can't seem to erase"
^this stanza gave me chills.
