Cleansing Rain

Letting the rain
Disguise my tears.
Letting the storm
Drown out my fears.

With outstretched arms
I welcome the rain
To wash all the blood
And remove my pain.

One drop after another.
Each penetrating my skin
Opening my mouth
I let the water fall in.

Cleansing rain
Covers my soul.
Filling in the gaps
Making me whole.
