Little Things

by Brittney Follett   Oct 17, 2007

Grabbing my hand and kissing my cheek,
Holding me close, saying I love you.
He tickles my neck whenever he speaks.
I'm in love with all the Little Things.

Everything just seems so perfect.
Look at us, we are just so cute.
Who would have need to suspect?
Too bad fairy tales don't come true.

Looking at the girls legs as they walk by.
Saying he'll call me, but he never does.
Ignoring me and leaving me alone to cry,
I hate all the Little Things he is doing.

But inside I'm burning, all torn apart.
Well whoever believed in "Happy Endings"
Sorry darling, I'm all through with you.
If only he noticed all the "Little Things"

Very deep poem. You talk about different kind of little things. The little things that makes you mad, the little things that makes you love... Liked how you connected the ideas to the concept. The rhymes were fine and flow went on smoothly. Nice job 5/5
