Boy forever lost?

by Tom Mitchell   Oct 17, 2007

There twas a boy went forth

blind amid a faceless sea

of things one can't un-see

intrinsically compelled

he looks within himself

plunges head forst into the void

and embraces the warmth of confusion

-

As bleeding skies of oblivion

envelop all that is

dripping chloroformed sugarcoated half-truths

upon the gleeful hordes below

unrelentingly slurping the esctatic anathema of the times,

parading a vision of eternal life

all the while choked by phallusies

of the norman rockwell revival crowd

who cheer on the anti-architects

impending extinction becoming all the more real

-

As blackness of night falls

a tormented soul emerges

from behind the facade of nobility

man's true nature reveals itself

man the hunter,

man the carnivore

man the beast, in search of prey

-

With scorn and malice I strike most delightfully at the subatomic core of complacency

mine mind's eye having proclaimed far more paranoid a future than most

We grow weary of your tactics

for ours is the vision of the id

the unabsolved festering which eats

nay erodes at that within those born of man

that which screams in silent terror before archetypical suffocation

asphyxiated in favor of that which is workable, that which is VIABLE

For we are all serfs in the great plantation of nothingness

work made flesh

bowing before the vassal of 'progress'
