And show me things that I never seen
I'm looking for that person who can smooth my night
Without showing sympathy saying over and over everything would be alright
I'm looking for that person who can understand
And make me see views other than "The Man"
This person has to compromise to agree
And even squash it to disagree
I need that person to take my eyes out and make my mind think
And show me that there are things out there just for me
Motivate me to strive to do better
Then you would see me stop writing these letters
Push me to the edge of the cliff and make me think with my head and not by mouth
Because I notice that only leaves me down south
I need you to be my instructor and direct me where I should go
And tell me that there's no excuse for the word no
Now I'm going to seal this letter up and put it in the mailbox
And whoever gets it, know that this is the only key to my lock
