Rebel.

Keeping me on a leash is just going to make me rebel,
I'm so sick of the fights, & getting to the point where I have to yell.

I do things I'm not supposed to because I know you won't let me willingly,
You'll never loosen your grip, so I'm trying to free myself of this misery.

When I grow up, I will never be as paranoid as you,
None of my friends get treated like this from their parents, so why do I have to?

I'm not a little girl anymore, I can make choices on my own,
So when I have my door locked, I just want to be left alone.

Threaten me all you want, but it won't help you will find,
So when you ask why I act like this, just keep one thing in mind,

If you want me to listen & do the things I should, just do me this one thing,
Let me make my own decisions, & unless I ask you please stop interfering.
