Forever

by Beautiful Chaos   Oct 18, 2007

Listening to the wind blow,
From places deep inside,
Voices floating in the night,
Where stars and dreams collide.

This darkness my companion,
My empty soul has died,
Forevers just a word,
It wont keep you satisfied.

Betrayal stroked me sweetly once,
I stumbled in the road,
I searched for truth and found your lies,
My love no longer flowed.

Since then I have wandered,
Night my closest friend,
The morning is my nemesis,
For then my dreams must end.

I must wake up to this emptiness,
And face the world without,
The one who said forever,
And fed no signs of doubt.

    Wow.
I thought the poem you entered in my contest was good, you're an amazing writer, darling.

    Flawles poem.

    Except:

    "It wont keep. . . " << won[[']]t

Other than that ONE tiny thing it's an amazing and flawless poem, once again.

And, I must say you have wonderful flow and emotion in this poem.
