Let go

by Lynn Anderson   Oct 18, 2007

I don't know how to think.
Right now I'm so confused.
When I think of love and laughter,
All I think of is you.

Its hard to not know,
How you feel inside.
Even though you never told me.
All I did was try.

I remember the look of your face.
The feeling in the air.
The reflection of you in fountain lake.
Love was really there.

I always held you close to me.
Fear of letting go.
Then I set you free.
Never letting go.

I love how you personalized it yet kept it general, allowing others to relate easier! It really touched deep with me, especially the last three lines- I totally get what you mean by letting go but not letting go.
