Eyes' Embrace

by Laura Lamarca   Oct 18, 2007

Silence stirs
to sweep and sway
'neath willow wishes on
whispered whims,

hushed auburns and golds
play on autumn's breeze, as
songbirds hum amidst the trees.

Magnolia bows 'neath
witnessed gaze as rumbles
crease to caress lawn's life,

majestic and magnificent...

such beauty crowns
each break of dawn.

Swans sashay
to swim and swoon,
dip dreams in
warm and welcome brook

as squirrels
creep, crawl curious to
look, on Eden's fields
to sleep too soon

and diamonds sit in
white gold embrace as
eyes light face in
proposal's kisses.
