Waiting

Waiting

There eyes were watching god, waiting for a reply that never seems to come.

Looking up at a sky filled with clouds the size of their misfortune, and they ask why.

The question in which the answer never hears. One by one hope dies.

Each bring their head down and face the truth that was placed in each mind.

That even though their eyes were watching God, Gods eye wasn't watching back. But there is always one.

In spite of the unbearable wait, and the never ending tears that are ripping slowly, painfully at their soul.

Waiting on the reply that is not silenced, but never even spoken.
There they stand, till the sky shakes and the earth falls.

One Waits.

    That's amazing
I understand most parts of it
    But not all.

But the parts I do understand
    say it all.
