Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids
By My Decadent

The narcissistic figure frozen on the mirror's face -
With this disdain, inside these veins;
I can see myself running into pestilence's disgrace -
With broken heart of lost remains.

Assumption of a resurrection that seems out of place -
With this burnt soul of scaring stains;
Cruelty brought thee orchids placing them on your face -
With this dead pain of strangling chains.

Unwillingly pushed into affliction's selfish embrace -
Emptied core where it always rains;
Beating heart of darkness now dead for it stopped its pace -
Strangled by your decaying strains.

    This poem is filed with so many emotions and you described pain on fantastic way. I like your metaphors and this piece is really deep. I enjoyed reading it, your word choice is also great and you mixed excellent rhythm with powerfully expressed sadness. It deserves 5/5
