Hope

In her eyes I see the world,
all the majesty unfurled.
in her voice I hear the heavens,
all the glories all the passions.
In her smile I see the light,
an ending to my lasting night.
but in her heart I see him,
and all my hopes begin to dim.
for he treats her with such demean,
she should be treated like a queen.
but I will not give up hope,
that she will dump this dope.
for with her smile comes the light,
and every queen deserves a knight.
