Just Go

by Wings Of Flames   Oct 20, 2007

Tears fall from my eyes,
But I just want you to go,
My heart crumbles tonight,
As your words flow,

Goodnight to the angels,
Their voices soft and pure,
Alone I am waiting,
For God's lightest cure,

You just walked away,
Scars are in your eyes,
Falling, aren't we all?
Resting in your lies,

Powdered mists are crying,
Into the wilting sun,
Flocking are the feathers,
This darkness has begun,

It eats away your being,
And knowing we will call,
Plastic trees are melting,
And fighting we will fall,

Just go back to your mountian,
Just go back to your heart,
Go back to the world I knew,
Back where I come apart.

^^I love that stanza, so much power and emotion in so few words.

This piece really tugs on the reader's heartstrings and I found it to be bittersweet, and beautifully written.

Flow was good throughout the piece and the depth you portrayed in here was wonderfully done.
