Quietly Formed Forever/What Comes To Mind

by 19Rusty   Oct 20, 2007

There is a time for forever, and a time to grieve,
a time to be in wonder of what you will never have,
of there and gone, in writing and in song,
but will you act on what is impossible, even though
a word, an illusion we became of in time,
a separation of dimension, for a decade of the watchful eye.

I look in the night sky, so beautiful, so many things
unknown, guesses of future, awe of the blanket of silence
surrounding the world, as we hang on words, everything
else hangs in the air, will it fall at the same time,
edit the corrections that can't be made, shout out to send
a message that nothing can be stopped, my best isn't there,
your worst brings out the heart of the angels walking there.

Laugh and cry all your happy wonders away and take a look
at the destruction of the image that God made you out to be,
not to break down you, no, no, no, out of the wonders of the
world, the objects that you only see, and once you get close
the image is smudged and faded, the feel isn't what you thought
to be, hopefully the architect knew what he had to when he
formed the next body of me.

I intend not to make any clear voice out of anything, to give
the soft lived a chance to shine.

Take their hand, take their sides,
the radiating warmth, the passion intended
for them after so long of dreams,
look in wonder at their body, lips,
nose, hair, eyes, the feel of their skin that has
grown accustomed to yours.

Keep still, let the sun set and rise,
let a beginning in anything wait,
let the endings get the know the start,
and never go home, this kind of thing
happens only when two are the same shadow.

Whoever moved first is the last to leave,
to ask a question of why, of anything that
shows no going back, and if nothing goes about,
your whole body will be complete at last.
