Saying goodbye has never been, an easy thing to do.
While my heart bleeds, through this ink, this message I have for you.
Its been a great experience being one of your faithful friends,
And I pray that your departure, doesnt let this be the end.
As my tears drip onto this page, I reminisce, thinking about;
The emotional rollercoaster Ive ridden, and I know without a doubt
The hills have just begun, and the valleys we have yet to see;
And just for good luck, a moment of silence for you and me..
In that silence, I thought about, all the memorable times weve shared;
Like the very first time we met, or that time I permed your hair!
Or maybe even that time, we shared our very first kiss;
Its times like these, I remember and know, that I will surely miss.
Forgive me now...for countering ,that cute smile upon your face;
But your memory also holds, a very sad familiar place;
In my heart, that I know, will never, ever disappear
Because no matter how long its been, there will always be a tear;
Every time I look back, at the scar I have from you.
And upon that moment, I know, that this will always be true:

Who knew that this wonderful feeling, could cause so much pain;
But Ill take with me the memories to be my sunshine, after the rain.
