Soldiers Of The War

by Laurenf7   Oct 21, 2007

Soldiers of the front-line
I don`t envy you.
I feel sorry for the pain
Your family have to go through.

In the papers every day,
Another solider is killed.
Once again they were only young
Killed with one single gun.

What it the point of war?
Killing, Shooting, Scaring, Dying.
It wasn`t God`s plan
For soldiers to have a short lifespan.

Stop the war
Whats`s it for?
From killing innocent people
What do you gain?

    Amazing poem, darling.
It made me want to cry, and I agree to a point. I believe God wanted them to fight for us, to show us what a true 'savior'/'hero' was.

but, it's your opinion, and I respect it. (: It's a great poem, amazing flow [[you're pretty good at that]], emotion[[that as well]], and word choice[thattoo]].

    You're a good writer, overall. (:
    Keep it up darling.
