Writing A Poem

by Lilly   Oct 21, 2007

Once Upon a rainbow,
my words began to speak.
Many frames came to life,
my mind began to leap.

Put the pen to paper,
watch the dark ink flow.
Witness letters making love,
watch my anger grow.

Empty voice of the soul,
tearing grief line by line.
Tragedy binding spirits,
tearing fear word by word

No ears can see the words,
sudden feelings of the tongue.
So send ink on paper,
sudden image of distant friend.

Under the distant rainbow,
heaven blind with dust.
Help flying opposite way,
heaven getting lost.

People's ears going blind
trying to listen though silence.
Them visions once related,
trying patience with all.
