Forgotten in Time

by QuietDreamer   Oct 21, 2007

Walking down the frosted path
Trying to escape my life
Full of the ones I hate
And the ones I love

The people pass on by
As I'm forgotten in time
Without even a glance back
They go to their warm havens and sugar-coated lives.

Tears slowly flow down my frostbitten cheeks
As a family goes on ahead,
So happy and merry as can be
Untouched by reality

The sky I thought was clear and blue
But now's a tinted shade of gray
Ominous clouds entomb the sun
Casting me back into darkness.

True vision goes black
As time ignores me
Looking for a new life
Looking for a new me

I won't praise you. Yeah it's good, and it's full of emotions. But you can still be better. Believe me.
