TIME...EFFORT..PATIANCE...FEELINGS...THIS IS A GREAT POEM AND I KNOW THAT FEELING..BEEN THERE

You said you loved me
and never would do me wrong
you took my hand and said that I'd see
that together we belonged

i know exactly how this goes, it seems like you can trust them, and then you just get your heart broken.

then things took a terrible twist
and i would be the only one to suffer
every time you swung your fist
but i guess it made me tougher

i went through this, and honestly, it did make me stronger.
i hope that things have worked for you since!

When someone tells a story to such detail you kinda pick up on it being real. I feel so sorry that a girl your age had to go trough this all and yet I know it happens all over the world to millions of women in all countries. Why can't men treat us with a little more respect? I think every girl should learn a sport like karate at a very young age, to make them able to defend themselves against these kind of cruelties:(

Hmm, good poem the emotions were strong through out. No one should have to go through that but far to many do. The wording and flow were great. I gave this poem a 5/5.

Its sometimes hard to beleive that a subject so painful and sad can make such good poetry. Im sorry this happened to you. The poem is amazing. The rhymes go together well
and the flow is again perfect. The emotion in it is so strong and heartfelt it just makes you want to cry. This is a fantastic piece of work, you are a great writer
