A True Friendship in the Heart

by x Mo x   Oct 21, 2007

Makenzie cried
As she watched her friend go.
Kalaya tried
To put on a happy show.
Bonded by fate.
Seperated by parents.
It was getting late,
The time to go was apparent.
One last hug
Before the end.
Sitting together on the rug,
"Will you still be my friend?"
One tear fell,
Then another.
It wasn't hard to tell
That they loved eachother.
"Yes, always."
Friends from the start,
And still to this day,
A true friendship in the heart.
