Into the Wind

by Medusa   Oct 22, 2007

A blazing sensation branded my heart.
Which continues to burns while we're apart.
A desirable feeling of passionate delight.
Which craves satisfaction during the night.
The sound of his voice echoes through my head.
Reminisce of the all the words he said.
My skin is still warm from his touch.
My soul aches from missing him so much.
We deny ourselves a love so rare.
Some nights it's a task I can hardly bare.
Our unforgettable moments nothing but a memory
The time has come to set myself free.
With a smile and a kiss blown into the wind.
I walk away from you, my dear friend.

    I loved it. =)

    My favorite lines were:

We deny ourselves a love so rare.
Some nights it's a task I can hardly bare.

The length, the rhyming, and the words were perfect.

    Keep writing!
