My Lady

by Fiedarina   Oct 22, 2007

I look at the lady lying in bed
I stroke her hand I kissed her forehead
She coughed a little
But she managed a smile

Her fragile hand touched mine.
Her fragile lips kiss my cheeks.
Her fragile body laying there.
Her fragile smile God, please don't break it.

One last time for the very first time
I held her close to me
I whisper to her the words she never heard
"Mum I love you. Thank you"

She closed her eyes
And tears rolled down
God take care of her
Say those I love yous that I couldn't.
