Unbeknownst To You

by IncompleteSanity   Oct 22, 2007

I sit here in the dark.
Unknown to anyone looking;
Away from the fears of goodbye.
Gone are the memories of you.
Replaced with any amount of hatred I can muster.
I can feel the cold death slipping closer.
Bargaining with my soul.
Keeping me only at the edge of eternal bliss,
Before dropping me down into the pits of Hell;
Burning with the lies my lips uttered that day.
"I don't love you anymore."
