Lie Down To Decay

by Alicia   Oct 23, 2007

Broken dreams lie down and decay.
Darkness fills and comes to stay.

Claws of dispire pierce the soul.
Depression comes in to take it's toll.

Another emotion creeping in.
Guilt for every single sin.

Another cut takes it away.
My body lies down to decay.

Sleepless nights, to many to count.
Paranoia beings to mount.

Seeing things no one has seen.
Maybe this is a waking dream.

Feeling helpless, I can't fight the pain.
My strength has quickly begun to wan.

Frustrating thoughts and pent up screams.
Nothing is as it seems.

Unending nightmare fill mind.
A helping hand is hard to find.

Reaching forward toward the light.
Hoping I will be alright.

Fighting this emptiness that consumes.
Tired of living in long lost tombs.

Wipe away my tears again.
Listen up you girls and men.

Live to fight another day.
Then lie down to decay.
