Life's Touch

by Allison   Oct 23, 2007

Butterfly kisses upon my eyes
Lightly brushing my sense of sight
Dark blue becoming a gentle gray
Life's sensations as dark as night

Fingertip's touch upon my skin
Bunching together; sinking in
Spreading red, yet keeping white
Life's sensations as dark as night

Light's smooth touch upon my hair
Removing the color, soft as air
Facing these changes with all my might
Life's sensations as dark as night

Silence's grasp upon my voice
Trapped inside, no other choice
Gasping; fighting, but all in spite
Life's sensations as dark as night

Stillness's touch upon my heart
My past, my present a work of art
My spirits free in perpetual flight
Life's sensations as dark as night

    I loved this poem,
The way you made your stanzas where quite unique, your imagery was really well.

    A real deep poem...
With beautifully expressed emotions of life.
