Young First Love

I thought it was a stupid little relationship,
One of those phone relationships people have when their young.
We were only in sixth grade.
And we broke up, just like any other kids.
Not violent, no yelling,

And that's when I realized,
It wasn't any normal relationship for kids our age.
We went out for seven months!
Not just 7 days like everyone else.
I loved you,
And I knew it.

Two years have passed,
But people still say
"No way, first loves don't come till your older."
But you were,
And you did.

You were my first love.

    Hehe, thx so much, i kinda just started writing poetry, so this was definitely a change.... i usually write lyrics, so this was a little different

    Aw...this is amazing, i had my first real love when i was a freshman, now im a jr and he has long forgotten me. i still think about him, practically everyday, and i would have to be honest and say that i still love him too...he meant the world to me and he was my everything...but now im w/ someone else who says he loves me, so, i guess we'll see where this goes...

    Hey good flow i know what you mean. I mean me a my gf Alex have been going out since the start of grd 7, I'm grd 8 now. Even thoe she dosn't love me i still love her and always will.
