Midnight Prayers

by JustBeingDevine   Oct 23, 2007

Breathing in and breathing out
My head leaned back and I feel like my hands are tied
I stand in here alone I scream, questions why
Days slip by and nights I can taste you
The memories of you run through my veins
Leaving me with one last kiss, screaming why are you leaving me now?

This medication is worthless, it can't save me now
And desperation, takes hold of my mind
I wanted to believe in you and all of this
I wanted to believe

Bringing me down these roads again love lost
Take my hand, show me the way
And never bring me back here

Determination, is pushing me to find you
Perseverance, is what I bleed

These are my unanswered prayers
The time has come for me to say goodbye

Take my hand, show me the way
And never bring me back here

God please hear me, calling
