Queen nine, I'm waiting on the flop
The cards are all dealt out
I see 12:20 on the clock
Its time to leave, without a doubt

I start to think of packing up
But my friend is saying no
She tells me 'hey', I ask her 'sup?'
She tells me 'please don't go'

I want to stay and witness more
But little do I know
I got my chance to make a score
Thats where the problems show

There is a flaw in this design
The one that keeps me docked
I know tonight, that u are mine
Its now 12:40 on the clock

I've felt the ecstasy of love
The music had once played
The girl whom I have now beloved
Is more than what I've prayed

I can recite a list of beauty
All of which is made by you
Ur eyes, ur smile, yes ur a cutie
And drop dead gorgeous too

I love the way you look at me
The way u laugh and smile
But whats the use, I'm number 3
Besides I'm just a child

So what if theres a gap in age
Who cares what we have done
That night we let our love engage
Besides its just for fun

Or so I thought until tonight
While leaving I said 'later, Miss'
I hug her by the candlelight
And share the passionate kiss

I want to keep on doing this
But at the same time know
That though this love will bring sweet bliss
We have to take this slow

And once again love scores on me
As so many times before
It brings me down to my knees
And makes my heart ache sore

Though unrequited this is not
It still wont do me good
Cause even though ur really hot
Our love will be misunderstood

And so the hard part comes to play
The infamous old 'wait'
I must consider what I say
Or love, might turn to hate

I want to live free as a bird
No worries and no tears
But this occasion has occured
I will remember through the years

I wont forget a single thing
From first time hug to kiss
If your heart didnt get to sing
I hope it does that after this

Through poetry, is an easy way
To let emotions flow
I find it simpler to say
Things you already know

So finally I have to leave
I want to stay and chat
I'll leave the chattin to some Steve*
cause poker's where its at.

*I play online poker with this girl every night for the past 2 months, and she's been getting alot of guys named Steve hittin on her...
