I want to wake up with country and blues in a place so cool,i wont have to wear my shoes,a country girl warm by my side long flowing dress and a veranda outside we will walk for hours with dogs and horses making our own paths, woods and streams our only choices where the birds will sing and nature calls stopping for lunch by our favorite waterfalls pure life without exaggerated expenses filling my days painting and fixing fences my country flower you'll look happy and free living the life the way its meant to be the smell of your pie will call me home our big country home,where Ive sweat ed and roamed our children can run free,no cares in the world a swing and a kids riffle for the boy a pony and a stable for the girl all i want is a country woman by my side on our homeland to tell you sweet words and just to be a man what a simple life,i would gather without haste i would give my right arm for a sample and a taste for the chance to sit outside,and watch the moon rise on our rocking chairs with you by my side what a life so simple true and bare a lovely existence with you i want to share so maybe one day I'll get my chance to put on my checkered shirt with you and do a cowboy dance
