What You Love.

by Cassidy   Oct 24, 2007

As you talk
About your old life
About how you were then
I cant imagine
How hard it must be
Leaving your
Place of serenity

You tell me about
The waves
And how they would turn white
As they crashed against
The peachy yellow sand
You speak of a forest-
So green and bright

You tell me about your trips
Into the Australian desert,
How I wish I could see all
That you saw-
The greens and yellows
Of the outback.

When I saw that picture
Of her,
I saw the tears fill your eyes
I could see the pain you felt
When you left her

You send me
Your favorite music from
There,
The soothing sound
Of an acoustic guitar
And soft voice
Of Pete Murray replays in my head
Dreaming I could go
Back with you
To the place you miss so much
To the place where you grew up.

To the place you have so much love for.
