Thinking

by Indian Comma Bean   Oct 24, 2007

Today we see the dreaded new decree,
lies kept our minds from being all but free.
Those eyes that have seen all the leafless trees,
the winds that have carried those silent pleas.
You find yourself sifting through cloudy thoughts,
All the silent faces, your eyes now wrought.
Stories traveling on the crimson sky,
hoping to see that those clouds might drift by.
Thinking and thinking of a land without fear,
So beautiful was it, it brought a tear.
Placing yourself in that meadow of greens,
where butterflies soar in a world of dreams.
So peaceful is this you wish not to part,
A shame you must leave such a work of art.

I CAN SEE HOW YOU LOVE WHATS STILL LEFT OF NATURE.
VERY WELL DONE AND I THINK SOME MORE OF THIS CAN MOVE OTHER PEOPLE TO LOVE AND PRESERVE WHAT WE STILL HAVE.
