Happy Anniversary

Waking up to a sunrise,
Love and laughter twinkled in your eyes,
So we came upstairs, sister and me,
To wish you happy anniversary.

I went to my friends to stay over night,
Wanted you two to celebrate your lives,
Something you never let me see,
It wasn't happy anniversary.

You went to the doctors dad was feeling bad,
The doctor said something that was so sad,
There's nothing you can do as far as I can see,
But have a happy anniversary.

I love you both tremendously,
I know mum, you love only daddy,
And love has bonded you for eternity,
Someday you can celebrate something that never got to be,
