The word

I was given a word,
It was left unheard.
The word that made me strong,
It made me hang on.

This word every once had,
I lost mine, thats why im sad.
Lost this word, lost in pain,
Standing quietly in the rain.

The world still hasn't come back,
And thats a cold hard fact.
But life still goes on,
I'll just go listen to a sad song.

Maybe the word will come again,
And it wont feel the same.
The pure joy of the world,
Then it will finally be heard.
