The Way I Used To Be

So many words to say,
About, How I felt today.
When you walked on by,
All I could do is cry.
Knowing you weren't coming to me,
And thinking you no longer would be.
How I am suppose to feel,
When I thought something was so real,
Then all of a sudden things turn around,
And I'm falling to the ground.
No longer is his hand there,
And no more do we share,
Our feelings, nor our thoughts,
That this life has brought.
I can look, but I will never see,
You standing around looking for me.
I guess, I'll have to adjust,
It's not a choice, it's a must.
You'll soon move on,
Be as good as gone.
I'll shed all my tears,
And have no choice but to face my fears.
So I'll move on,
Say so long,
To this unhappy me,
And go back to the way I used to be.
