Bitter Sweet Symphony (Sonnet)

Bitter Sweet Symphony (Sonnet)

Rain pours crimson tears down on my window,
I loved her so, but she betrayed my heart,
Now it is broken, and filled with sorrow,
Left me alone here feeling torn apart.

I sit and wonder what didn't go right,
I thought I knew her, but that was all lies,
Thinking of her face keeps me up at night,
But then it brings me back to her goodbyes.

What I wouldn't do to just forget her,
Get on with my life, no longer feel pain,
Last time I felt joy I cant remember,
This hate is the only thing that remains.

Now my heart sings a broken melody,
And my life's a Bitter Sweet Symphony.
