The not so little Red Dress

by Fran   Oct 26, 2007

I remember when you bought me
That short red dress,
Laid it on the bed,
With your usual finesse.

Beautiful silk and
Trimmed with lace,
You said the price was worth it
For the look on my face.

It took away the years, made me
Feel special and sublime,
And though it was too large,
You said it was the design.

But I know too well what is to blame,
Although you would never confess,
While I'm out so you feel unashamed,
You parade around in my sexy red dress.

I should point out this is fictional.
If my husband knew I had written this he would throw his purse at me : )

HAHA a very funny poem, and yes I imagine he would throw his purse at you if he was able to catch you wearing his high heeled shoes , HAHA I think he would get a bit of a chuckle actually. Well written
