Pointless Poem

I act like I don't care,
but we both know the truth.
I act like a b**** and try not to look at you,
but when you turn around,
well, that's another story.
Because of you, I'm writing this stupid poem,
that doesn't even rhyme or make sense.
Sometimes, I just wish that you felt the same way just for one minute,
then again, if you did, I wouldn't be writing this.
I know this sounds like just more
-sad
-pathetic
-pointless
lyrics to a depressing love song.
But maybe I'm just another
-sad
-pathetic
-pointless
-romantic-
If so, I'm blaming you.
It's not your fault.
I wish it was so I could have an excuse
so I could hate you.
But I can't and I won't,
because I would break my own heart [again].
You walk by me hoping I won't talk to you.
I wish, hope, and pray the complete opposite.
I keep on telling myself that
well be that happy, fairy-tale ending
to the perfect teen love story.
Haha. I was so wrong.
That kind of stuff never has and never will happen.

But still at the same time-
there is a little, tiny, spark of
hope,
that at the same time you feel the same way.
