This is a simple poem based on a relationship which was anything but simple! It was a relationship I believed was based on a love strong enough to withstand anything, and with a man I thought I would be with forever. Now he has given up on us...or he never meant a word he said in the first place. This man knows that I love him more than life itself and he knows what he has to do so we can be in each others arms once again. But right now it appears that all his promises were made to be broken. Mine however were NOT!

I know what that's like two times over. This was a short poem but I definitely got the message. It's a real gift to portray so much emotion with so little words. A lot was said. 5/5
