All Falls Down.

by Teria   Oct 26, 2007

All Falls Down.

My hopes arising higher than the sky,
I can feel your breath upon my skin -
It's been so long since I could even dream of
breathing your smell in.

How wonderful it feels to hold you closely,
remember your lovely touch that so wonderfully
fills my soul with beauty and calmness -
if only this weren't another fantasy.

As I let you go, I know it's impossible.
For you've changed, taken yourself away.
And all falls down right beside my hope -
I've found out the truth today.

No longer can I save myself from heartbreak,
it's already won over my heart, darling.
With a world abandoned, deepening in fear -
a world of love now spiraling.

This was quite the amazing piece yet again. I loved how you wrote this into such great depth. Something about your word choice sparked my heart and gave me this feeling of love yet sadness. The flow was great as always, and your word choice capturing. Overall a great piece, you know how much I love your poetry. Well done Sweetie. ~Mel
