Memories of you

by Tylor   Oct 27, 2007

Like a blind man's eyesight,
As is our love in view,
I always put up a fight,
And tried to convince you to stay,
But this love, just wasn't right.. you'd say.

We'd forget about the memories,
The feelings that grew old,
Somehow you are still with me,
Or in this heart,
That feels so very cold.

With every breath taken,
I feel the pain gather,
Or all the breath wasted,
That could have never,
Switched to a love,
Bitterly tasted.

With every day passed,
Of us entwined,
I couldn't think,
Of a better time,
In which you were mine..

Every single dream,
Goes right back to you,
Its more than I can handle,
Just a bit more to construe,
These memories of you..
