I dont want to be the girl,
He ignores & doesnt want to see,
I dont want to be the girl,
He calls for 10 minutes just to be pleased,

I dont want to be the girl,
He leaves hanging by the phone,
I dont want to be the girl,
He leaves home all alone,

I dont want to be the girl,
Who listens to sad songs most of the day,
I dont want to be the girl,
He turns silent to with nothing more to say,

I dont want to be the girl,
He breaks promises to and makes her cry,
I dont want to be the girl
Who considers maybe she doesnt need a guy in her life

    Hey, I really loved this poem.
    I reminded me of when I was that girl. Allowing myself to be used and abused by a stupid guy who was never really worth my time.
    It helped me to realise how much i don't regret letting him go...
