Moving on.

When someone you love leaves...
with no goodbyes and no reasons why...
it hurts.
it hurts worse than a lot of things.
but you get over it.
you get passed the fights
passed all the tears.
and you move on.
then one day...
your cleaning your room.
you stumble upon old pictures
and old letters.
you remember all the laughter...
you remember being happy.
you remember all the ups.. the downs..
and all the in betweens.
you miss it but you know.
you know its done. that its been done.
but you understand that it happens.
you say a silent goodbye
and put the pictures in the box.
you smile as you shed one last tear.
you put the box away,
and move on with your life.
