It is often said that love knows no bounds
So why should I give up because of taunts and frowns?
Why give it away for simple ignorance

I truly believe love knows no boundaries and often breaks self-perceived ones
I love someone younger
It matters not for I will stay true
My life can spiral and twist but I will stay on the path I forge for myself

Love that makes me crack a smile
Whenever I lay eyes on her
Even when I just think of her
Love that makes her laugh with joy when I'm near
