Thoughts passing through my mind
Like a raging tempest bearing down on me
Thoughts of love and passion
Thoughts of pain and sorrow
These thoughts passing through my mind
They trouble me so
They send shivers down my spine
The thoughts racing through my mind take root in my very soul
They confound
They mesmerize
They dance about as a flickering flame
I think of you
Your beautiful face
It's always on my mind
I can't think straight when I'm around you
I can't think straight when I'm no where near you
You delve deep into my head and take away all of my common sense
You dance about with so many things
You dance about in my mind from left to right
Before my eyes I see perfection
For surely there cannot be anyone else more perfect than you
I love you so
Yet you doubt it deep down in your soul
I understand this lack of trust
I will do everything I can to gain it
You think I have eyes for another
But how can that be
When my eyes can't leave you
