Summer Home

by brie kelly wise   Oct 28, 2007

A painting, a secret
It all belongs on paper
A window, a door key
It all shows a hidden place
A halo, a small girl
It all belongs in heaven
And this is where we leave them

A boy in summer
A girl in green leaves
In a sense
We are home
If I look up will I see the sky
If I lose you will I breathe a sigh
I know this script as if I wrote it
But will I know it in the city

Start of a hopeless day
It belongs in the sun
End of the relation
It belongs in your hands
And this is where we call them

A boy in summer
A girl in green leaves
In a sense
We are home
If I look up will I see the sky
If I lose you will I breathe a sigh
I know this script as if I wrote it
But will I know it when I get home
