Blessed

by Pete   Oct 28, 2007

It's been a long time since I've seen you, I know.
But I still see your face every place that I go
I've missed you since I was dismissed with goodbye.
Questions arising, comprising of why!

I'll answer my queries before I'm delirious too.
Found bound by a spell once I fell for you.
Not many people feel blessed in their lives,
I'm one that has, and of that I'm surprised.

Religiously blessed? A test of faith through your eyes,
Less than best to be left with a guest in your life!
A Blessing is mine of the heart, mind and soul.
True love doesn't exist, we're consistently told.

We all speak of perfection, that it can't be real.
I believe that it is and that's what I feel,
I feel real emotions, my notions intact.
True loves the real blessing, no questioning fact.

This is truly powerful... It isn't what I expected when I first saw the title which is great, I love when writers surprise me with unique pieces.
Whole poem is effective and excellently written, very deep, too.
I like the rhymes and great flow that you created.
I can't chose my favorite part, this is absolutely great from the beginning to the end.
    Keep up!
    5/5 from me, truly deserved.
