Loss Of Inspiration

I am losing my inspiration.
It is running from my sight.
I can not see where it is going.
I think it is heading to wards the light.

I am losing my inspiration.
I do not know what to say.
My words are quietly spoken.
They are at the end of their day.

I am losing my inspiration.
My world is turning black and white.
The colors are slowly fading.
But I am still here, trying to write.

I am losing my inspiration.
My brain is shutting down.
But I will finish this poem.
And then my words will hit the ground.
