Crinkle cut and hashbrowns

Crinkle cut and hashbrowns
Saw your dad in the supermarket
He was marching

Past the joybars!
How can anyone pass though-ose!

I need to know:
Would you sell your vote?
To two countries.
Then pit them
In nuclear warfare?

My Dad did.

He won world domination
Or was that denomination?
No Oscars-
Ahh Adolf,

Ill tell you what I thought I saw
The flash of a car
Coming towards me
Or maybe it was my cat

Perched upon the shelves,

Its times like these I wonder
Would I be the sinker or destroyer?
And if we were playing battleships

Can I have a snake AND a ladder?

If we were two hundred
-eyes, am I the retinas?
That boy had such curly hair

And now that I remember,
Where have the good looking
From the supermarket gone?

This poem is for you
But will you appreciate it
(Now that SHES here)

Can I appreciate you
(Now that SHES here)
I think the answers always yes.

And you know.
His Dad doesnt look like him
Not when hes marching

When he marches hes a soldier
In his heart
(Is there a knife?)

His dad looks like a stranger
Or maybe thats HIM now!

Have I lost the imprint of
Two hundred retinas?

Where is your face!
YOUR FACE!

Here's a song, hopefully it talks where my words just walk away like idiots. im the idiot but..

    "

    mars volta - vicarious atonement
    Don't you pretend
    That I'm not alive
    My bones never ache
    Unless she's nearby
    Where is your face?
In a safe of dead tongues
    I can see your reflection
    In your totem first born
    I suspect
You've been carry a pack of wolves
    I regret
Not killing you while i had the chance

Maybe i will always haunt you
    Mark the somnolence with truth
    Better hang your dead palace
Than have a living home to lose
In the river Ganges, God damns my name

    Don't let these hands
    Sharpen your eyes
    A rasp of tails"

makes sense. its easy to talk about love and then let it go but embodying it, is the worlds problem. not my problem, cuz im fixin dat. amiright? hahaha
